Channel Sales Manager – 7SIGNAL

Job Overview:
7SIGNAL is seeking a dynamic Channel Sales Manager to spearhead our channel program initiatives. In this pivotal role, you'll be the driving force in expanding our Wi-Fi optimization solutions market presence through a robust network of partners, including VARs, distributors, technology partners, and managed service providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Partnership Cultivation: Strategically manage a select portfolio of new and existing channel partners to achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly sales quotas.
  • Channel Strategy Execution: Create and implement immediate and long-term channel strategies to enhance market penetration.
  • Partnership Development: Build executive relationships and nurture structured partnerships, setting and achieving mutual goals and financial targets.
  • Collaborative Planning: Lead a joint planning process with partners to establish key performance indicators, financial objectives, and critical milestones.
  • Sales Enablement: Facilitate the creation of sales and marketing tools essential for channel partner success.
  • Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales, marketing, product and operations team to drive partner revenue growth.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assess and enhance the effectiveness of partner programs to boost partner satisfaction and performance.
  • Training Academy: Ensure your named partners are utilizing our online training tools and manage your users in the system.
  • Partner Onboarding: Streamline the onboarding process for new and current partners, ensuring a smooth transition and integration.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with other 7SIGNAL team members and bridge the efforts of cross-functional departments (Segment Sales, Territory Parts Account Managers, Sales Operations, Channel Marketing, Finance, Logistics and Customer Service).
  • Reporting: Regularly report on partner achievements and assigned metrics.
  • QBRs: Conduct quarterly and ad-hoc partner business reviews to ensure aligned with objectives.
  • Constant Improvement: Make recommendations regarding channel partner program tools, incentives, and go-to-market messaging.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in channel sales within B2B SaaS or Networking is required. 
  • Communication Excellence: Superb verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to develop and maintain positive, productive work relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Industry Expertise: A solid background in developing channel partnerships with resellers, distributors, and manufacturers.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
